Refund and Returns Policy
Overview
Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we generally cannot offer you a full refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return, your fishing gear must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
Non-Returnable Items
To maintain the quality of our inventory, the following items cannot be returned:

Gift cards

Bulk Wholesale Orders (unless the items are defective or damaged upon arrival)

Used Terminal Tackle (hooks, swivels, or sinkers that have been removed from original packaging)
Damaged or Defective Items
We take great care in packing your rods and reels, but we know accidents happen during transit. We only replace items if they are defective or damaged when they arrive. If you receive a damaged item, please contact us immediately at sales@fishsmart.com with photos of the damage so we can rectify it for you.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

Approval: If approved, your refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within a few business days.

Sale Items: Only regular priced items may be refunded. Items purchased on “Clearance” or “Sale” are generally non-refundable unless defective.

Costs: You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Wholesale Returns: For large wholesale returns, please contact us first to discuss the most cost-effective courier options.

Tracking: If you are returning expensive items (like high-end rods or reels), we strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
